Reunion luncheon on August 25, 2007 at the Red Coach Inn, Niagara Falls, New York

The rustic Red Coach Inn overlooking the raging Niagara River meters away from the Falls was the site of the recent reunion luncheon of the Class of 66. Thirteen classmates from the Greater Toronto area, in four separate cars, crossed over to the US side for a rendezvous with Edward Sin and his family.

Edward, just retired after a productive career with the HK government, drove up from Binghamton, New York. Edward and Nancy are proud parents to Aaron, SPC Class of 1995, who earned a Ph.D. from Cornell (in 2002) and Celestine, who will begin her second year in Electrical Engineering at SUNY at Binghamton. We were delighted to meet Edward’s lovely family!

Steve Wong Sai-Hoo’s wife Linda and Nelson Cheng Yui-Hing’s wife Rita also joined us for the occasion.

This was a most enjoyable afternoon as classmates caught up with their long lost buddies and made new acquaintances. Each classmate had the opportunity to share with the rest of the group what mischief he has gotten himself into over the past forty-one years (sort of).

All of us agreed that we should hold another reunion soon, and make sure that those who couldn’t join us this time (such as Gordon Jang Kwok-Tung, Timothy Leung Kam-Fai, Tony Tam Man-Kwong, Bobby Siu Chee-Yiu, Paul Shum Wai-Ming, Enoch Mo Yiu-Chor) would join us then.

We wish to thank Nico Choi Lap-Chung for suggesting the venue and Tennyson Ng Chung for making the reservation.
