Dear classmates,


We are determined to do stages 1 & 2 of Maclehose Trail on March 15.


Assemble time :
Saturday, March 15, 9:00am.

Assemble place :
Pak Tam Chung bus station.

Public transportation :
# 94 from Sai Kung (get off at Pak Tam Chung Bus station)


Starting point :
We will take the green taxi at Pak Tam Chung to the east end of the East Dam, and start hiking from there.

Finishing point :
Chek King

Duration :
maximum 7 hours hike plus half an hour lunch break at Ham Tin Wan plus transportation time.

What to bring :
hat, sunglasses, some snack and 1 liter of water ( we can replenish our water bottle during our lunch break at Ham Tin Wan ).

Will decide after the hike whether to go for dinner.
Some of us may want to go home right away after the hike.

P.S. Philip Cheung is driving from TST to Pak Tam Chung. He can pick up classmates at 8:00 am. outside Kowloon Hotel, Middle Road. Anyone interested in a lift please call Philip at 9020-1551.<

Latest information from Henry Shum:

Here is the latest arrangement:

Philip Cheung, CM Yim, Fu Tze Kin, Raymind Lai, LO Chun Kay and me will meet at Hang Seng Bank Choi Hung Station at 8:15 am and go to Pak Tam Chung by taxi.

Sonny Yau and Ip Ka Lam will come to Pak Tam Chung separately to join the group.

The hike will finish at Chek King and get on board Sonny's yacht for dinner in Clearwater Bay. The route for the hike and the lunch break at Ham Tin will remain unchanged
